Founding date: 1659 old style, or 404 years before the Stellar Era. Some chroniclers consider 495 years before the Stellar Era to be the founding date: the year Zynovii-Bohdan Khmelnytskyi was elected hetman.
Founders and first rulers: Zynovii-Bohdan Khmelnytskyi and Ivan Ostapovych Vyhovskyi. They were the first hetmans who cemented the Cossack order as the main order across Eastern Europe on Old Earth.
Connection to Old Earth: the core of the Hetmanate was Eastern Europe, specifically the territory from the Danube to the Don. Later, through expansion, it seized all of Central and Western Europe, North Africa, and Asia Minor.
