Two billion citizens of the Hetmanate Federation permanently reside there, most of whom originate from Asia Minor on Old Earth and are ethnically descended from Arab lands.
The system is renowned for its Muryid Steel, which is used in the manufacture of ships, armor, vehicles, and colony stations.
Muryid Uprising
In 315 Stellar Era, the Muryid Uprising took place in the Muryid System — an insurrection that nearly destabilized the entire Hetmanate. Due to the immense value and importance of Muryid Steel, the Hetmanate committed massive Haiduk forces to suppress the rebellion.
