The Stellar Era is the basic count of time. It replaced the “common era.”
Year 0 of the Stellar Era was year 2143 in the old style.
In year 0 of the Stellar Era, the first successful warp transition was made using a warp engine. This event later became the basis for humanity’s transition to the new calendar.
